The local drum corps in the 1930’s were musical power houses! 1938 was a particularly awesome year for the corps, where they went to the national competition in Los Angeles and were finalists. This is amazing considering they were up against teams from big cities such as Chicago, Miami, New York and St. Louis. Enjoy reading up on their awesome accomplishment!!
