• South Portland Public Library presents: Enslavement, the Underground Railroad, and Abolition in Greater Portland. A 1-hour recorded presentation as well as numerous links to further information and reading. (February 2022)

• Cotton Town: Maine’s Economic Connections to Slavery. Co-conducted by Maine Maritime Museum (Bath) and Bowdoin College’s Africana Studies Department. A 1-hour recorded virtual lecture titled: “Portland Maines complicity in the Economics of Atlantic World Slavery” (Winter 2022). Page includes links to further resources, audio recordings of historical documents read by college students, and educator resources. [This should be especially significant to Biddeford-Saco, as we were are huge part of the New England cotton textile industry for 100+ years.]
